Lee tries calling Elizabeth to make a date, but she tells him she has a date with someone else. Then she hangs up on him. When Lee travels to Fort Washita to visit her, she gives him little hope that they will even continue to be friends. Later, the Texas Rangers take Lee, Hershey, and Art to a ranch to begin their training, conducted by Tim “Tex” Rogers and Roy Holt, who has a beautiful daughter named Carol. Lee is still down over his relationship problems, so Hershey and Art take out for a night on the town and get him drunk. The next day, while he’s fighting a hangover, Captain Avigdor orders him to come for dinner that night telling Lee he’s gonna get him right. That night, Lee meets the Captain’s new housekeeper, Ipo, a beautiful native Hawaiian, who gives Lee a special massage and an incredible meal.
