Lee and Dung are spending the weekend with Awanasa, Degataga, and Elizabeth. Lee is smitten with Wolf’s fiancé, but also feeling guilty, because he’s so attracted to her. She reassures him that she is interested, because she knows Waya is not coming back. As they leave Durant, Lee stops at the cemetery in Van Alstyne to visit his mother’s grave. While he’s there, he encounters his own gravestone, and Mr. Blessing, who doesn’t seem to recognize him.
